Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television broadcast receiver and an information management method of the digital television broadcast receiver for properly protecting personal information required for viewing digital television broadcasting. SOLUTION: When a user operates an operation section 62 to enter a password, a CPU 22 in a processing unit 20 receives the password via an input output section 24 and authenticates the user on the basis of the entered password.
