Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen capable of reliably suppressing deformation or strain in a lens sheet, thereby maintaining excellent image display performance, regarding a rear projection display apparatus for projecting and displaying an image on the transmission type screen from the rear side thereof. SOLUTION: The transmission screen 7 is constituted by providing: a lens sheet 9 having respective ribs 10 of increased thickness on upper and lower sides thereof; and an upper bracket 11 and a lower bracket 12 attached to the lens sheet 9 so as to retainably embrace the ribs 10. The upper bracket 11 is fixed to a frame 20 on the apparatus main body side, whereby the lens sheet 9 is installed so as to be pulled downward by the weight of the lower bracket 12. The rib 10 is formed by laminating the same materials as a substrate of the lens sheet 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
