Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that can prevent a projected image from having color unevenness due to chromatic aberrations generated by optical members and project an image of high illuminance and contrast by efficiently using the light from a light source. SOLUTION: A first stop 40 is arranged between the light source 1 and a DMD 15, and a second stop 50 is arranged between the DMD 15 and a projection lens 17. An opening formed in the first stop 40 has a shape corresponding to an illuminance distribution of light, at a position where the first stop 40 is arranged. An opening formed in the second stop 50 has a shape of enclosing a light-condensing range of light of respective colors, at a position where the second stop 50 is arranged.
