RANGE HOOD FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly exhaust air accumulating in a ceiling vicinity while maintaining exhaust efficiency of a main by a simple composition by selectively changing an operating state of a range hood fan in correspondence to a generated situation of exhaust air. SOLUTION: A main exhaust fan 2 is provided in a lower part position of an internal space of a hood body 1, an upper exhaust fan 3 is provided in an upper part position of the hood body 1 internal space, an upper suction opening 7 is opened in an upper part of the hood body 1, the exhaust fans 2, 3 are communicated with each other via a communication passage 9 in the hood body 1, and a movable damper 5 is provided in an intermediate part of the communication passage 9. The movable damper 5 is comprised by composing it such that it selectively moves between an intermediate closing position 5a, and lower closing position 5b, and effective exhaust is carried out by selecting a most proper operating form in response to the generated situation of exhaust air.
