Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing glycerol kinase (EC 2.7.1.30) used as an analytical reagent and a composition containing the glycerol kinase to prevent the deactivation of the enzyme for a long period. SOLUTION: The method for stabilizing the glycerol kinase involves adding at least one kind or more of amino acids and salts thereof, and/or an oligopeptide. The amino acid and the amino acid constituting the oligopeptide have one of hydrogen, a methyl group, a carbonyl group and an amide group on the side chain, and exhibit solubility of ≥0.5 g per liter water at 25°C.
