Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive where information which has already been viewed can be deleted in the unit of a chapter when viewing the information recorded in the hard disk. SOLUTION: When it is judged that a setting time of a reproduction time passes while a video/voice data is being reproduced after turning on of a chapter deletion function is judged, and a reproduction button is pressed next, the video/voice data which is reproduced presently is divided into chapters, and the chapter numbers of the divided chapters are stored in a memory as deletion chapter numbers. When a stop button is depressed or the reproduction is finished in this case, a deletion selection screen is displayed on a display device. When the deletion selection screen is watched and deletion is selected, the divided chapters to the final chapter are deleted based on the deletion chapter numbers in the memory.
