OPTICAL RECORDING METHOD, OPTICAL REPRODUCING METHOD, OPTICAL RECORDING DEVICE AND OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording method facilitating efficient and excellent recording by using a light source of low power without stopping rotation of an optical recording medium, to provide an optical reproducing method facilitating efficient reproduction of information recorded by the above recording method, and to provide an optical recording device and an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: The optical recording method comprises irradiating an optical recording medium having a recording layer to record information by use of holography with information light and reference light to record information in the recording layer while rotating the optical medium, and the optical recording method, reproducing method, optical recording device and optical recording medium are characterized in that: the rotation number of the optical recording medium during recording is 10 rpm or less; the irradiation period of information light and reference light per one recording of the information is 0.1 μs to 10 ms; and the intensity of light is from 1 mW to 1,000 mW.
