ROTARY TYPE ELECTRIC RAZOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor in which cutting performance of the main blade is improved by high speed vibration of a cutter as the main blade to ensure draw cutting of a cutting edge. SOLUTION: The electric razor includes a cutter unit 17 and an outer blade unit 18, head case 19 which supports both of these 17, 18, a main power system 15 for driving a cutter 20, and a vibrating structure which reciprocatingly drives the cutter unit 17. The cutter unit 17 is composed of the cutter 20, a cutter frame 21, and a cutter gear 23 which receives rotating power. The cutter unit is guided and supported slidably back and forth wholly by the head case 19. The vibrating structure converts the rotary power which comes from the main power system 15 into the reciprocating power, and transmitted to the cutter frame 21. By this mechanism, the whole cutter unit 17 is forcibly vibrated at a high speed around the axis of the cutter 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
