ELECTRIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that is capable of securing a service lifetime of a bearing while supporting a reaction force of the electric motor between working points by thinning the bearing width of a double-row bearing. SOLUTION: The electric motor 14 is provided with a male screw 41 formed at the center of a motor shaft 31, a central bearing 42 formed at a length equivalent to a single-row bearing width continuously to the male screw part 41, and a shaft flange 43 formed continuously to the central bearing 42. A rolling bearing 32 is provided with an outer raceway ring 172 with a fastening part, which is brought into contact with the shaft flange 43, and an inner raceway ring 171 with a cup-shaped fastening part which is arranged in the outer raceway ring 172 with a fastening part and provided with a fastening board part pressed with a nut screwed into the male screw 41. The rolling bearing is held with the fastening board part receiving the face pressure of the nut and the end of the outer raceway ring 172 with a fastening part brought into contact with the shaft flange part 43.
