Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device capable of minimizing a gas leakage even when foreign matter is bitten between a seat and a valve in a valve closing state. SOLUTION: An EGR valve 20 has an inlet port 12 for introducing EGR gas, a discharge port 13 for discharging the EGR gas to an air intake system to mix it with intake air, a housing 11 formed with a communication path 14 for communication of the inlet port 12 and the discharge port 13, the seat 15 provided in the communication path 14, the valve 20 abutting against and separating from the seat 15, and a motor 30 for moving the valve 20. The valve 20 is formed with a conical portion 20a, a plane portion 20b of a diameter larger than the conical portion 20a at its tip and a projected closed portion 15a having a top abutting against the plane portion 20b of the valve 20 in line contact therewith.
