Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device excellent in heat insulating property and operability. SOLUTION: In the folding door device, two door bodies 8, 8 are turnably connected by a joint stile 10 and folded when opening a door, and a metal portion facing the indoor side is covered with a synthetic resin cover when closing the door. The joint stile 10 and the door bodies 8, 8 are connected by engaging a shaft-like part 29 provided along the longitudinal direction of one stile, turnably with the inside of a bearing groove 26 provided along the longitudinal direction of the other stile. An overhang part 32 hiding the connection part is formed on the indoor side of the joint stile 10, and the synthetic resin cover is eliminated from the shaft-like part 29 out of a portion facing the indoor side in the closed state of the door.
