Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flame retardancy, mechanical properties, flexibility, abrasion resistance and heat resistance, causing no heavy metal compound elution and emitting no much smoke and toxic gases, and good in recyclability. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass of (A) an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or ethylene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer, a polyolefin and/or ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative and a resin component containing a specific amount of an acrylic rubber containing (meth)acrylic acid as a copolymerization component, 150-300 pts.mass of magnesium hydroxide, a specific amount of a polypropylene moiety-containing resin, and a predetermined amount of an acid and/or an acid ester component.
