| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method and a production method of acrylic acid in which a solid acrylic acid polymer that is dissolved and present in crude acrylic acid to be subjected to a purification operation is removed and acrylic acid can be efficiently purified and produced. SOLUTION: The purification method of acrylic acid is provided comprising purifying acrylic acid from crude acrylic acid obtained by at least either absorbing or condensing an acrylic acid-containing gas generated by a gas-phase catalytic oxidation reaction, wherein the crude acrylic acid contains 50% by mass or more of acrylic acid and the filtration operation of the crude acrylic acid is performed at 15 to 70°C and a liquid linear velocity of 5 m/s or less before performing a purification operation.
