DRIVING POSTURE ADJUSTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving posture adjusting device which adequately ensures the view and the driving operability of an occupant according to the operation of adjusting the longitudinal position of an occupant seat according to the physique of the occupant. SOLUTION: The driving posture adjusting device comprises: a slide rail 39 installed on a floor part of a vehicle body in a front-up inclined state; a seat slider 44 slidably supported along the slide rail 39; a seat driving mechanism 40 for longitudinally moving an occupant seat by driving the seat slider 44; a guide plate 51 having a guide groove 53 of a predetermined locus and fixed to the vehicle body; and a guide pin 52 which is provided on a rear portion of a seat cushion 35 and slidably supported along the guide groove 53. A rear end of the seat cushion 35 is elevated by slidably moving the guide pin 52 along the guide groove 53 of the guide plate 51 according to the operation of moving the occupant seat 4 forward of the vehicle body by driving the seat slider 44 by the seat driving mechanism 40.
