Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply a sheet underlay which substantially prevents slippage of Japanese paper or the like, necessitates no weight of a load, enables close contact of the whole paper with it and comes into excellent contact with a desk or a drawing board, on the occasion of drawing paintings or calligraphic works, and moreover which is hardly stained with Japanese ink or ordinary ink and excellent in drawing workability. SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric which contains random loops prepared by using an extra-fine synthetic fiber bundle of 1 dtex or less is used for the underlay.
