Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode capable of obtaining an electrode of high quality. SOLUTION: A device of manufacturing the electrode is provided with a convayor structure conveying electrolyte films 12, and an ultrasonic spray device 32 spraying electrode catalyst material ink on a surface of the electrolyte film. The ultrasonic spray device 32 sprays the ink by utilizing ultrasonic vibration of single frequency, further, the ink is not pressurized at all when spraying, as a result, fine ink drop is sprayed with low discharging speed. As a result, kinetic energy of respective ink drops becomes low, and the electrolyte film 12 can be prevented from damage caused by collision of the ink drop on the electrolyte film 12. Further, since the size of the ink drop is uniform, the thickness of a catalyst layer 20 formed after drying the ink can be uniformized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
