SUPPORT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CIRCUIT DESIGN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit design support apparatus which designs a circuit with considering output impedance values in both high level output and low level output from an output means. SOLUTION: The circuit design support apparatus has a circuit information storage means for storing circuit information included with impedances in high level output and low level output from the output means, and a circuit information calculation means for extracting circuit information from the circuit information storage means and calculating wave distortion values in high level output and low level output from the output means. In addition, the circuit design support apparatus also has a wave distortion permissible value extraction means for extracting a wave distortion permissible value that a receiving means which receives output from the output means can permit, and a wave distortion determination means for comparing wave distortion values in high level output and low level output from the output means with the wave distortion permissible value and determining whether or not the wave distortion value is within the wave distortion permissible value.
