ARTICLE DUMMY DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VENDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article dummy display device for a vending machine that enables the display of a solid article sample and a sheet article sample, is easy to be handled, and improved in the appearance of the display. SOLUTION: The article dummy display device 30 for a vending machine which displays solid article samples of articles vended and sheet article samples 15b pictorially representing articles vended comprises sheet sample holders 41 for holding the sheet article samples 15b, and an article display rack 31 having, in the front, solid sample mounting parts 33 on which the solid article samples are mounted, and in the rear, holder mounting parts 35 on which the sheet sample holders 41 are mounted. Each sheet sample holder 41 is mounted to the holder mounting part 35 for back-and-forth pivotal motion by which the holder projects in the fore-and-aft direction to hold and display the sheet article sample 15b substantially flush with the front of the solid article sample mounted on the solid sample mounting part 33 and retracts backward to allow the solid article sample 15a to be displayed on the solid sample mounting part 33.
