POSITION DETECTING DEVICE AND POSITION DETECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting device and position detection program for receiving high-frequency signals, including sent reporting information and measurement signals with a personal digital assistant, while periodically changing a plurality of antennas or a plurality of sets of antennas from a base station, and for detecting the three-dimensional position of the personal digital assistant, the distance between them, or the direction between them. SOLUTION: The high-frequency signals, transmitted from the plurality of antennas 11a-11d or the plurality of sets of antennas 11a-11d of the base station 10 via transmission paths 68a-68d, are received by the personal digital assistant 20. By calculating the relative phase of the carrier signals, sub-carrier signals, modulation signals, or baseband signals of the received high-frequency signals, a three-dimensional position 69 of the personal digital assistant 20 is detected accurately.
