Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow better balancing of brittleness and resiliency properties of a crosslinked cellulose for use in an absorbent article. SOLUTION: The fibrous material comprises cellulosic fibers, and the fibers comprise a polymeric resin including covalently bonded radiation reactive groups, which are capable of forming cross-linking bonds upon being impacted by radiation energy.
