Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control member which stably shows higher Young's modulus while maintaining high vibration control properties. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a vibration control member according to the present invention, a substrate composed of porous plastic ceramics is impregnated with an acrylic resin to obtain the vibration control member. The manufacturing method comprises a modification step of modifying the substrate by a silane coupling agent having a functional group selected from among an acryloxy group, a methacryloxy group, an amino group and an epoxy group to obtain a modified substrate; and an impregnation step of impregnating the modified substrate with an acrylic resin to obtain the vibration control member.
