Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion ship capable of obtaining efficient thrust even if a large ship is operated at high speed so as to obtain stable sailing while having almost no thrust resistance at a bow during ship sailing. SOLUTION: The water jet propulsion ship is a propulsion ship by a water jet that is propelled by obtaining thrust while discharging external seawater from a discharge opening 8 at a stern 7 to the rearward after pressurizing the external seawater by a submerged pump 6 built in a vacuum tank chamber 5 by introducing the external seawater from a water conduit 4 into the vacuum tank chamber 5 after sucking the external seawater from a water intake opening 3 opened at the lower part of a draft line 2 at a bow 1 into the water conduit 4. The vacuum tank chamber 5 has an inner water level 9 and a vacuum zone 10 located at a position higher than the draft line 2. One end of a suction pipe 12 into which an opening/closing valve 11 is inserted is connected to the vacuum zone 10 in the vacuum tank chamber 5.
