MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device for monitoring only moving picture data efficiently in a system where data including moving picture data is transmitted by network. SOLUTION: In a moving picture data distribution system 1, a server 3 for storing and distributing moving picture data 34c, a first kind network device 4 for reproducing the distributed moving picture data 34c, and printing equipment 2 as a management device for monitoring and outputting the moving picture data 34c are connected through a network 5. The printing equipment 2 is constituted as a multifunction machine or a printer and as a management device for identifying and monitoring the first kind network device 4 connected on the network 5 and can reproduce the moving picture data 34c. When a decision is made that the first kind network device 4 is reproducing the moving picture data 34c, a packet of the moving picture data 34c is acquired from the network 5 and outputted as a still image.
