INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER AND ITS ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner and its arrangement structure with favorable workability, capable of air-conditioning a space with a high heat load without impairing an appearance. SOLUTION: In the indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner, an air duct casing 4 is formed of a body box part 2 having a bottom face opening and installed with a blower 6 and a heat exchanger 7 in an interior, and a panel frame 3 shaped like a rectangle as seen from a bottom face, covering the bottom face opening of the body box part 2. A duct casing 4 interior is partitioned into a suction side duct 14 and a blow-out side duct 15 using the heat exchanger 7 as a boundary, a suction opening 16 for indoor air is formed in a position communicated with the suction side duct 14 in the panel frame 3, and two-direction blow-out openings of a first blow-out opening 17 and a second blow-out opening 18 are formed in positions communicated with the blow-out side duct 15 in the panel frame 3, along two opposing edges of the panel frame 3. It is composed such that a third blow-out opening 19 communicated with the blow-out side duct 15 is formed in the panel frame 3, along one edge other than the two opposing edges.
