Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for discovering an abnormality in a rotating state of a flywheel occurring due to damage of a bearing built inside of the flywheel at an early stage. SOLUTION: In this behavior monitoring device, during disconnection of the clutch 7 equipped to the flywheel 3, only the flywheel 3 rotates and an input shaft 2 is in a state of non-rotation, and during connection of the clutch 7 equipped to the flywheel 3, the flywheel 3 and the input shaft 2 rotate. A laser type displacement sensor 9 is installed on the side face of the flywheel 3 with a small interval, the displacement amount oscillating in the axial direction during disconnection and the displacement amount oscillating in the axial direction during connection of the clutch 7 are measured, and numerical values digitally displayed by a display device 10 are read and compared.
