OVERFLOW DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overflow device by which the overflow water is made to flow out from an overflow hole by a siphon phenomenon causing a current of water, even when the overflow hole is small. SOLUTION: In the overflow device, an overflow elbow of a curved pipe or a bent pipe is connected to the overflow hole, and an overflow drainage pipe is connected to the overflow elbow. A water passing cross-sectional area of the way from the overflow hole to an outflow port of the overflow elbow is formed to be substantially uniform, and the outflow port is formed at a position lower than the overflow hole.
