HIGH EFFICIENT ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a light emitting layer containing a light emitting material and a molten salt, and a high efficient organic electroluminescence element containing the composition. SOLUTION: The composition comprising a molten salt and a light emitting material contains an organic cation, and an organic or inorganic anion, for example, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride or a polymer having molten salt in the side chain. The molten salt is contained in an amount of 0.001-20 mass% of all the mass of light emitting material, and polymer light emitting materials or the like are used as the light emitting materials. The composition makes the light emitting layer of organic electroluminescence element. When a display is activated, a separating layer of electric field induced charge is formed in the light emitting layer by the molten salt.
