Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of improving engaging accuracy of an output gear and a worm gear even when working accuracy and accuracy of mounting work are not high, eliminating backlash and reducing cost. SOLUTION: This shift lever device is furnished with a shift lever 7 supported on a rotation axis 5 in cases 3a, 3b free to revolve, a lower lever 25 interlocked with the shift lever 7, a circular arc worm wheel 27 (output gear) axially supported on the lower lever 25 free to revolve and having a gear part 27a, the worm gear 23 supported on the cases 3a, 3b free to revolve and engaged with the gear part 27a of the worm wheel 27 and an energizing member 29 engaging and holding the worm wheel 27 and the worm gear 23.
