Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude dead band of actuation which is occurred by construction of an orifice of a piston when a gas spring vertically moves. SOLUTION: The gas spring 10 or a piston assembly 16 for a damper includes first and second orifice plates 30, 32 which are axially spaced apart from each other. First and second low friction rings 50, 52 is disposed between the first and second orifice plates. The first and second low friction rings are separated from each other by an elastic member 60. The elastic member acts between the first and second low friction rings and is configured so that the dead band actuation is excluded when the piston assembly moves between extension and contraction positions.
