ONE-WAY CLUTCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch capable of positively engaging all sprags to inner and outer rings without impairing torque capacity even under an environment where the friction coefficient between the inner and outer rings and the sprags becomes small. SOLUTION: Regarding one sprag 5L out of a plurality of the sprags arranged between inner and outer rings 2, 3, a strut angle α2 or β2 formed by a normal A2O or B2O at a contact point of either one of an inner ring contact point A2 contacting the inner ring 2 and an outer ring contact point B2 contacting the outer ring 3, and a line A2B2 connecting the inner ring contact point A2 and the outer ring contact point B2, is set smaller than a strut angle α1 or β1 of a plurality of other sprags 5H, and the sprag 5L is arranged to be further erected than the other sprags 5H. An inner holder (link member ) 7 is provided for interlocking the other sprags 5H to engage with the inner and outer rings 2, 3 according to the movement of the one sprag 5L when the sprag 5L performs an engaging operation with respect to the inner and outer rings 2, 3.
