Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type compressor for improving the durability and reliability of a device while securing smooth slidability by efficiently supplying lubricating oil from a crank chamber to a slide contact face between a swash plate and a shoe to prevent seizure between the swash plate and the shoe. SOLUTION: The swash plate type compressor comprises a piston reciprocatingly provided in a cylinder bore, and the swash plate arranged in the crank chamber, the piston having a portion located in the crank chamber while engaging in slide contact with the swash plate via the shoe. The swash plate has a communication hole for delivering fluid introduced from one opening portion, from the other opening portion to the slide contact face between the swash plate and the shoe.
