CONTAINER WITH LID AND HEAT SEAL METHOD FOR LID MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely peel a base material 5 and a surface material 6 one from the other by pulling a peeling tab 7 without displacing a peeling half-cut 11, in a lidded container designed such that a lid material 2 formed from the base material 5 and surface material 6 bonded together so that they can be peeled are heat-sealed to a flange 3 projecting from the peripheral edge of the opening of a container 1, the lid material 2 having the peeling tab 7 extending further outward than the upper face of the flange 3 and also having a peeling initiation half-cut 11 made from the base material 5 across a portion extending further outward than the upper face of the flange 3 of the peeling tab 7. SOLUTION: The container 1 having a curling section 9 is used, the curling section 9 being such that the outer edge of the flange 3 curling downward. The peeling tab 7 is joined to the curling section 9 via a tab seal 10. The peeling initiation half-cut 11 is disposed adjacent to the outer end of the tab seal 10 or within the tab seal 10.
