Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot rowing boat propulsive through a simple and highly efficient horizontal type fin to mechanically reproduce an idealistic kinetic locus of the caudal fin like a dolphin. SOLUTION: This foot rowing boat has the fins 6, 7 mounted on rods 2, 3 to vertically slide as pedals 4, 5 are operated by feet, and these fins constitutes their characteristic feature of having a mechanism in which they are variable within a range of downward angles 5 to 45 degrees when they are lowered and within a range of upward angles 5 to 45 degrees when they are raised, upper ends of the left and right rods to vertically slide are connected to each other by a rod connector 8 and the left rod 3 rises when the right rod 2 lowers through a roller 9 on a central support. Additionally, the fins have flexibility and are fixed on a shaft moving vertically. Furthermore, rectifier walls to increase propulsive force are furnished left and right of the fins.
