ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic EL element which obtains a thin and light organic EL element using a glass substrate, and to provide the organic EL element manufactured by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The organic EL element has a first electrode, an organic electroluminescence layer with at least one organic compound layer including a light emitting layer, and a second electrode on the glass substrate. At least two of the organic EL elements are stuck together with a flexible sealing member via an adhesive in structure. The method for manufacturing organic EL element comprises a hole forming step of forming at least one hole in an area corresponding to a lead-out electrode of the organic EL element of the flexible sealing member, an arrangement step of arranging an adhesive, a stick together step of sticking the organic EL elements together with the flexible sealing member via the adhesive, a hardening step of hardening the adhesive, and a dividing step of dividing the organic EL elements.
