OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive improving its operation quality by preventing lateral swing of the disk tray when unloading. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive has retaining ribs 15a, 15b and stopper 23a, 23b to stop the disk tray 11 at the unloading end position. The retaining ribs 15a, 15b comprises a first retaining rib 15a closer to the rack 14 and a second retaining rib 15b far from the rack 14. The stopper 23a, 23b comprises a first stopper 23a facing the first retaining rib 15a and a second stopper 23b facing the second retaining rib 15b. The second retaining rib 15b is located in front of the first retaining rib 15a. The first and second retaining ribs 15a, 15b collide simultaneously with the first and second stoppers 23a, 23b respectively when unloading. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
