CUMULATIVE ADDITION DEVICE AND CUMULATIVE ADDITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cumulative addition device and a cumulative addition method capable of suppressing the increase of a circuit scale and achieving highly accurate cumulative addition operation. SOLUTION: The cumulative addition device is provided with first and second cumulative addition circuits 200, 300 and a switching part 100 arranged on the prestage of these circuits 200, 300 to determine which cumulative addition circuit is to be used. Namely the cumulative addition circuits 200, 300 have respectively different degrees in the absolute value of a numerical value to be operated. Outputs from the cumulative addition circuits 200, 300 are added to each other by an adder 204 which outputs a cumulative addition result sum(q(t)) of an input value q(t). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
