WAVEFORM GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a desired waveform while changing the amplitude ratio in real time, while keeping phase difference between a plurality of waves or the continuity thereof. SOLUTION: The waveform generator 1 has a plurality of wave information storage means 3 for storing wave information; a waveform control means 4 for reading out the waveform information from the each waveform information storage means 3; a plurality of waveform computing means 6 for computing the respective pieces of waveform information from the plurality of the waveform information storage means 3; an amplitude control means 5 for outputting pieces of amplitude information to the respective waveform computing means 6, so as to output amplitudes of the pieces of waveform information output from the waveform operation means 6 at respective desired levels; and a composition computing means 7 for composing the plurality of pieces of wave information output from the waveform operation means 6. The waveform control means 4 conducts control to read out the waveform information from the waveform information storage means 3, and controls the amplitude control means 5 so as to make outputs from the waveform operation means 6 come to a desired ratio.
