DUST REMOVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust remover suitable for comparatively easily and efficiently removing and recovering rubbish stuck and deposited on a screen face of a bar screen disposed underwater to remove the rubbish carried with water flowing into a branch passage to an intake, an irrigation canal, or the like from a river or the like, by one worker who stands on a scaffolding above the bar screen. SOLUTION: The dust remover for removing foreign matter staying prevented from passing through by the bar screen 35 installed in a running water passage comprises a guide rod 2 having a length extending from the vicinity of the lowermost part of the bar screen into a height position which exceeds the scaffolding 36 above the bar screen; a rake part 10 supported by the guide rod so as to freely advance/retreat along the longitudinal direction of the guide rod, and a drive mechanism 20 advancing/retreating the rake part along the guide rod. The drive mechanism comprises an electric winch 21 mounted to the upper part of the guide rod, and a wire 25 wound by the electric winch and fixed to the rake part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
