SEALED TYPE SECONDARY BATTERY WITH BOLT TYPE TERMINAL AND PACKED BATTERY USING THIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type secondary battery with a bolt type terminal capable of being manufactured in a better work efficiency than before and matching the need for downsizing. SOLUTION: An engaging hole 402 for a turning-together-preventive tool with a rectangular outer-edge shape is formed at tips of bolt parts 30, 40 of electrode terminals 3, 4, and at the same time, a communicating channel 401 is formed in penetration inside the engaging hole 402 along an axis direction of the bolts. The electrode terminals 3, 4 are fixed to a sealing body with a nut 5. A safety valve 43 with a metal thin piece adhered is arranged at a terminal end of a base part 42 of the communicating channel 401, so that, at abnormalities of inner battery pressure, inner gas is to break it to be released outside through the communicating channel 401.
