DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING EASY-TO-GET-LOST DANGEROUS PLACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously warn a user who is at risk of being lost before wandering off a route, for any optional mountain area and foot walk. SOLUTION: This display device comprises a storing means for storing contour line data and foot walk data, a displaying means for displaying a foot walk map including the contour line based on the contour line data and foot walk data, and a determining means for receiving, from the user, the specification of the objective route from a start point to a target point on the displayed foot walk map, dividing the objective route into a plurality of segments, determining the type of the foot walk in each divided segment based on the relation with the contour line data, and outputting warning when the foot walk of the type corresponds to the easy-to-get-lost dangerous place.
