SOLUTION: A control means 55 switchingly controls to carry out combustion and to stop combustion at a regenerator 5 based on an outlet temperature TCHOUT, a combustion start temperature TON SPand a combustion stop temperature TOFF SP. Further in carrying out combustion, the control means 55 switchingly controls high combustion and low combustion to bring the outlet temperature TCHOUTclose a target temperature TO. The control means 55 further acquires a load state from the time ratio of the combustion state and corrects the combustion start temperature TON SP, the combustion stop temperature TOFF SPand the target temperature TO so that the time of the combustion stop state and low combustion state becomes long only in a medium and low load state.
