Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for developing therapeutic strategy for treating disease accompanied by a differentially expressed gene. SOLUTION: The method of statistical analysis of the differentially expressed gene is provided. The method comprises (a) a step for obtaining a set of differentially expressed genes, (b) a step for screening genomic sequences including the regulatory regions of the differentially expressed genes for the presence of regulatory factor binding sites, and (c) a step for identifying at least one regulatory factor binding site enriched within the set of differentially expressed genes relative to a genome-scale or tissue-scale background.
