CATHODE-RAY TUBE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have welding of lugs onto a frame carried out in high reliability so as to prevent expansion of the number of welding points as well as to support a tube with its case. SOLUTION: The suspension lug (114) for the cathode-ray tube is provided with welding regions (123, 124) on an anti-implosion frame of the tube. The welding regions are extended in a first direction (BB) over a length L, and in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction over a length I shorter than L. At least one of the welding regions (123) is extended in a direction on a plane (130) different from that (131) on which the other welding region (124) is extended. The structure increases rigidity of welding, and that, enables to limit the number of welding points. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
