Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which facilitates work for closing a flow passage to be separated. SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 comprises: a body 4 rotatably accommodating thereinside a substantially spherical valve element 13 provided with a through flow passage 14; a sleeve 5 slidably mounted in the outside of the body 4 and provided with an annular groove 19 in the inner surface; a driving member 17 acting on an eccentric position of the valve element 13 to rotate the valve element 13; and a belt-like driving ring 20 provided with an engaging hole 32 into which the driving member 17 is inserted and fitted to the annular groove 19, wherein both ends 34 of the driving ring 20 are separated to be opened and the diameter of the driving ring 20 is partially contracted so as to projecting the engaging hole 32 from the annular groove 19.
