Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which accurately groups power generators into stable and unstable ones, in consideration with the accumulated energy during the accident and the conditions of a system after the accident has been removed when a supposed accident has occurred. SOLUTION: For each of the supposed accidents to be set in and after a supposed accident setup step 12, this power system transient stability determination method comprises a stability simulation step 13 for calculating the detailed stability of a power system by using the initial condition of the power system, a 2-generator model creation step 14 for creating an equivalent 2-generator model based on the power generator internal voltage vector and power generator's effective power output obtained in the preceding step and the preset power generator classification information, a step 15 for estimating a system admittance between two-condensed power generators which constitutes this 2-generator model, and a stability determination evaluation step 16 for determining stability by an extended equal area criterion.
