ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND POWER SAVING SETTING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment achieving sufficiently effective power saving while reflecting intention of a user in using the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: An application in use is retrieved from a first use state information table 39, a standard operation state of each device in a use state of the application is retrieved in reference to a line of the application in use in a power saving proposal table 41, the standard operation state of each the device in the use state of the application and a present operation state of each the device in a first device state information table 36 are compared and referred to, and the present operation state is adjusted to the standard operation state to find the device allowing reduction of power consumption. When the corresponding device is detected, a message prompting a power saving mode is displayed, a stop or an operation change of the corresponding device is performed in response to an instruction by the user, and the power saving is implemented.
