INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, MODULE REPLACEMENT APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR TESTING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the replacement/addition of a program module for an information processing apparatus requires the step of transferring a target module to the information processing apparatus in order to test the program module on the information processing apparatus, irrespective of whether the test result is a normal/abnormal end. SOLUTION: A module replacement apparatus for testing a target module selected by a target module specified by an information processing apparatus, and the information processing apparatus provided with a software coordination means including a remote procedure call (RPC) function and a module management means both operatively coordinated with the module replacement apparatus to support the test processing of the module replacement apparatus can dispense with the transfer of the target module following an abnormal test end of the target module to shorten module addition/replacement time.
