FLAME-RETARDANT FIBER, FLAME-RETARDANT FIBER COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND PRODUCT MADE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant fiber material and textile product achieving high flame-retardancy of a textile product having an easily combustible form without deteriorating the comfortableness and designing freedom of the textile product and, furthermore, usable in a form to directly contact with the skin. SOLUTION: A flame-retardant fiber composed of an antimony-free resin composition obtained by adding red phosphorus to a halogen-containing polymer or a polymer composition containing halogen is combined with natural fiber and/or chemical fiber to form a flame-retardant composite material usable as a textile product. High flame-retardancy comparable to a fiber containing an antimony compound can be achieved without deteriorating the comfortableness and designing freedom of the textile product.
