Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having superior fitting property, leakage prevention property and slipping-off prevention property by having a flexible panel constantly exerting a contractive force during being worn. SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 is provided with a substantially longitudinally long absorbent body 5 having a surface sheet 2, a back side sheet, and an absorbent body 4 disposed between the both sheets, and a pair of elastic panel parts 6 and 6 provided in the both-side edge parts of the absorbent body; and is worn around a wearer by fixing the fixing materials 61 provided at the respective tip parts of the pair of elastic panel parts 6 and 6 to the outer face side of the absorbent body 5. The whole width L1 from the tip of one elastic panel 6a to the tip of the other elastic panel 6b is 60-65% of the maximum abdominal circumference of the wearer and each width L2 of the both elastic panels 6 and 6 is 15-20% of the maximum abdominal circumference.
