Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop technologies with which even when loss of fusion splice of optical fibers at a splice point is low for specifying a fault occurrence position in an optical pulse test of an optical cable line, actual detection accuracy can be improved by correction effectively utilizing the position of the splice point between optical cables. SOLUTION: At a splice point 22 of optical fiber cables 21, the optical fiber cables 21 are spliced with each other via an optical fiber 24 for detection which has the light intensity level of scattered light of an optical pulse for optical pulse test different from that of optical fibers 21a of optical fiber cables constituting an optical cable line 2.
